Its length and profile provide just the right amount of steerage for large diameter arrows. The 3" (76.2mm) X Vane measures 0.48" (12.1mm) in height and weighs an average of 10.0 grains (648 mg). Like all Bohning vanes, the base of the X Vane is pre-primed for optimal adhesion.

I've used so many types of glues and fletchings.. this is the 3rd style of bohnings I've bought and used. I tried tac vanes and they just would not stay stuck.. I loved the heat vanes and the blazers. I wanted something longer and something that stuck well. These so far are by far the easiest to glue. I use a pen with acetone and fletchers choice glue. This has been the best for me personally. Blazer bond worked awesome too!. I bought the purple ones with a 4 fletch on the bitzenburger. When it comes to vanes I think I learned my lesson.. ill stick with bohning vanes for here on out.
